 Zach McMillan resumed action with the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) tour on Saturday night as the series invaded I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas).
Twenty-three entries filled the pit area at the 1/4 mile oval to battle for the $2,000 top prize. Struggles in heat race action positioned McMillan starting nineteenth on the feature grid. Despite starting deep in the field, Zach sliced through the pack over the course of the 40 lap affair to register a solid eighth place finish at the checkered flag. | June 14th, 2014 - Zach McMillan Battles with SUPR at Battleground |
| Zach McMillan traveled to Battleground Speedway (Highlands, Texas) on Friday night for the opening round of a two night stand at the facility with the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) tour.
On Friday night a field of nineteen entries registered for action, and preliminary action found Zach starting fifteenth on the grid for the $1,000-to-win feature. During the course of the finale McMillan advanced four spots en route to an eleventh place finish. Saturday evening found the winner's check increased to $2,000-to-win as twenty entries filled the pit area. Heat race action saw McMillan finishing fifth, earning him the thirteenth starting spot in the 40 lap finale. With passing being difficult, Zach battled around mid-pack throughout the event before crossing the finish line in thirteenth. Full results from the event are available at www.SUPRRacing.com. |
