Zach McMillan resumed action with the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) tour on Saturday night as the tour made its return to Sabine Motor Speedway (Many, Louisiana) for the first time since 2008.
McMillan was looking to turn around his recent, bad luck, as he drew the tail of his heat race among the twenty-six entries on hand for the event. Despite starting deep in the back Zach managed a fourth place finish in heat race action, earning him the ninth starting position for the finale. During the course of the feature McMillan battled the handle on his mount to a disappointing seventeenth place finish in the finale rundown.
Sunday evening found the team competing at their home track, Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) for the annual Memorial Day 50, which attracted nineteen Super Late Models to the 3/8 mile oval. McMillan would once again find himself battling the handle on his #14z P&W Sales/Rocket/Wall-2-Wall Super Late Model and ultimately recorded an eleventh place finish in the finale.
