 Competing in the Open Wheel Modified division, Zach McMillan traveled to Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) on Saturday night to a field of seventeen cars. Improving one spot in his heat, McMillan scored a runner-up finish behind Billy Jack Brutchin earning him 3rd place starting spot for the feature. Hanging on to a podium finish, Zach notched a 3rd place finish behind Jason Ingalls and Max Thomas with Billy Jack Brutchin and Donnie Powers trailing them across the finish line. | June 11th, 2016 - Zach McMillan Places 10th at Tri-State Speedway |
 Following the COMP Camps Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Zach McMillan headed to Outlaw Motorsports Park (Muskogee, Oklahoma) on Friday night for the event co-sanctioned with the MARS DIRTcar Series. With thirty-seven cars signed in for the Red River Shootout, McMillan placed 3rd in his heat earning him a 9th place starting spot for the feature. Improving one position in the 35-lapper, Zach recorded an 8th place finish.
On Saturday for the second night of the Red River Shootout, McMillan earned an 11th place starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events. Breaking into the top ten, Zach gained one position notching a 10th place outing.
