| October 28th, 2017 - McMillan Visits Whynot for Coors Light Fall Classic |
 Friday night brought Zach McMillan to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) for the 23rd annual Coors Light Fall Classic. With 42 Super Late Models on hand for the unsanctioned weekend, McMillan posted a 7th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main on Saturday for one final shot at the $15,000-to-win A-Main. Sending the Top 4 into the show, Zach came up short of a transfer position with a 9th place outing.

| October 14th, 2017 - Zach McMillan Wins in Limited Modified in Armadillo Nationals |
 On Friday night Zach McMillan returned to Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) competing in two separate divisions for the annual Armadillo Nationals. In a field of 33 Touring Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) entries, McMillan timed in sixteenth fastest but was disqualified after the qualifying session sending him to the tail of his heat. Transferring the Top 4 into the A-Main on Saturday, McMillan logged an 8th place finish. Rolling off 6th in his B-Main for one final shot at the main event, Zach landed a 5th place finish securing his spot into the feature. Running into trouble early, Zach McMillan was an early retiree from the main event after breaking his rear-end on the opening lap.
 In the Limited Modified feature, McMillan had worked his way into the Top 5 from the tail of the field until spinning out. Rallying from the back again, Zach wheeled his way up to a 6th place finish but was rewarded the win after the Top 5 finishers were all disqualified.
