Behind the wheel Tim Ables Trucking #14z Open Wheel Modified, Zach McMillan visited Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) on Saturday for $1,200 top prize. Rolling off 5th in his heat, McMillan streaked to a heat race victory locking him on the front row for the A-Main. After four cautions in the first four laps slowed the beginning of the race, Zach held on to a 4th place finish after losing his powering steering on the second restart. September 16th, 2017 - McMillan Attends Jim Kuntz Classic at I-30

Returning with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Zach McMillan traveled to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night for the inaugural Jim Kuntz Classic. With 26 cars signed in for the event honoring a well-known engine builder, McMillan locked his spot into the feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. With $3,000 on the line, Zach jumped up two positions in the 40-lap affair recording a 10th place finish. Zach remains in fourth in the CCSDS point standings. September 3rd, 2017 - Pair of Top 10 Finish With CCDS Over Labor Day Weekend

Zach McMillan kicked off the Labor Day weekend on Friday night at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned event. Drawing 28 cars for the $3,000-to-win opening night feature, Zach locked his spot into the main event with a 4th place finish in his heat. Starting in 13th, McMillan advanced through the field seven spots in the 35-lapper to place 6th. The following night with 19 cars on hand at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi), Zach placed 4th in his heat race positioning him 12th on the starting grid for the feature. Breaking into the Top 10, McMillan improved two positions registering a 10th place finish. Closing out the Labor Day Classic, McMillan stopped at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Sunday. After timing in seventh fastest in his group, Zach posted a 5th place finish in his heat earning him the 15th-starting position for the $2,500-to-win finale. Coming one spot shy of a Top 10 finish, Zach McMillan worked his way up to a 11th place outing. Zach sits in fourth in the CCSDS point standings.
