 On Friday night Zach McMillan traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) kicking off the two-day Clash at the Mag. With 28 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand, McMillan locked his spot into the $20,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday with the 6th and final transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off 16th, Zach gained one spot in the 100-lapper reeling in a 15th place finish.

| June 9, 2018 - Broken Driveshaft Ends McMillan's Night at Lonestar |
 Zach McMillan was one of 24 Open Wheel Modifieds signed in at Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) on Saturday night for the Outlaw Modified Special. Jumping up one spot in his heat race, McMillan landed a 2nd place finish positioning him 6th on the starting grid for the feature. With $5,000 on the line, Zach was battling for a podium spot until a broken driveshaft ended his night immediately. He was credited with a 13th place outing.
