 Saturday night found Zach McMillan in action at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) for the second round of the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) opening weekend. In a field of 25 cars, McMillan was able to record a lap in qualifying but ran into mechanical issues in his heat that prevented him from competing a lap.

| March 16, 2019 - Podium Finish in Modified in 2019 Debut at Lonestar Speedway |
 Zach McMillan kicked off the 2019 season on Sunday at Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) powering his Day Motorsports #14z Open Wheel Modified for the St. Patrick’s Day special. Jumping up one spot in his heat, McMillan recorded a 3rd place finish locking him into the 6th-startng position for the A-Main. Wheeling his way into a podium spot within the first five circuits, McMillan passed for 2nd after a restart but faded late to place 3rd behind Chris Hennigan and Jason Ingalls with Tye Clampitt and Billy Jack Brutchin rounding out the Top-5 finishers.
